have a neighbor water it. Buy a timer that hooks up to the spicket.

Hopefully by then we will be getting our regular afternoon rains so that should help.

You don't say what kind of plant it is.

I have a number of house plants that I water once a week, if that. I went away over the winter for a 10 days and before I left I watered my plants liberally and they survived just fine.

Unless it's a plant that absolutely needs to be water every couple of days, it most likely will survive a week without watering. Cut back a little on the amount of sun it gets while you're away so that it doesn't promote drying and I'll bet it's still alive when you get back.

We are already getting the summer rainstorms, so the outside plants should be fine. If not, Maybe you can ask a neighbor or neighborhood kid to do it for you while you're gone.
