I know the coffee, or lack there of, in Riverview was a hot topice last night...

After several delays, Dunkin Donuts/Baskin Robbins has finally broken ground across from Pioneer Tire on U.S. Hwy. 301 just south of Lake St. Charles.
Franchise owners Ilan and Tracey Aramati report that the store will be more than 2,000 sq. ft. and offer indoor tables and outside patio seating, plus a drive-thru. Hours have yet to be determined.
According to Tracey, "We are hoping to open late August 2006 weather permitting."

That could be dangerous...donuts & ice cream in one stop...I can feel my waist line growing just thinking about it:)

I know it. I worked in a Baskin Robbins store all thru high school & college. It is very hard NOT to eat it, but as far as I am concerned they make the best ice cream around. I will have to just stick to the lattes and low-carb bagels!
