Well Hello

Hi. My name is Karla and my husband is Randy. I am a 3rd year law student at Stetson (meaning it is my last year of school) and my husband is a programmer for a company in Tampa. We moved here to the Riverview area from Denver, Colorado so I could attend law school. We are in our early forties and this is a second career for me (sorta - worked for attorneys most of my first career). Had plans to move back, but we actually don't miss the snow and like it here, so we have decided to stay.

I plan on practicing in the area of Elder,Real Estate, and Family law and have plans to open a practice in the area after I get licensed (hopefully next year). Been clerking for an Elder law attorney in St. Petersburg and it is my area of concentration at school.

Found this forum from a soundbite about it on another board, and glad I did. This one seems much better organized and easier to get around. Plus, no one can hide behind their postings.

Looking forward to meeting some good decent people.

Well kieth when one forum member and another forum member really care for each other they some times hold each other close and kiss and 9 months later a new forum member is born and the cycle of life continues.:knuddel:

Thanks. I will. Maybe we could meet at some point. I know when we probate an estate, often times we have homes that the heirs want to sell. Where I am working now, we deal with a realtor in St. Pete for that area, but will need to form a relationship with an attorney in the Riverview area.
